If I had to choose a character from the book, I would choose Steve Randle. I think Steve Randle would be a good friend because, he is very smart and it would be good to have him in the car if you are going on a long trip and afraid of you’re car breaking down (since he knows so much about cars). A person that I would not want to be friends with would be Two-Bit Mathews, because he sounds like the kind of person who would lead you down the wrong path.

We all know that the fifth commandment is: Thou shall not kill. With that in mind, tell me what you would be feeling AND what you would do now if you were Johnny at the end of Chapter 4?
If I was Johnny and I killed someone, and I knew it was wrong I would feel awful, guilty, and I would want to feel that guilt forever. What i would o after I killed someone I would probably, go to the persons house, and I would give a true i am sorry, with a gift for them. I would also learn from my mistake, but, more importantly I would go to confession and say sorry to the Lord. I can't read this, Gina! In the future, you may not put a background color. ~Mrs. Best

I think I would ahve apologized to the family and brought them a gift if it were a less serious offense bceause the parents might go crazy and try to hurt you or they might call the police and turn you in. I like the part about confessing your sins to God because after Confession I feel so much better and if I had mudered somone I would be really stressed out and need to feel that God is going to help me get through this and confession will help a person do that. Overall good job Hey Gina its Nina i agree that if i were johnny i would feel all thous things. But,i disagree on that being a mistake i mean it was a mistake for him to kill someone else but it was to save his and his friends life and he would feel guilt but he would also be pony's hero in some ways. but i do totally agree that i would go to church which they kind of did (lol) because that"s where they were hiding but if i were them i would be confessing everything.

A. On Pg. 92 it says: Johnny wasn't behaving at all like his old self...That was the first time I saw him without that defeated suspicious look. Explain what the author is inferring.
In my opinion the author was trying to infer that Pony Boy was not feeling all his self. As in he feels sick and is not as strong as before, was a little more crabby than usual and not into what ever the rest of the Greasers were doing. I also would say that the author was trying to infer that Pony Boy might of had a reaction to the burning church, the smoke probably gave him a hazardous lung disease, or lung cancer.
The author was telling us that Johnny was - not Pony - was doing something no one would think a greaser would or could ever do - be a hero!! ~Mrs. Best
